The education of our students is a partnership between the parents and the school.  Just as the parent has the right to withdraw a child if desired, the school administration reserves the right to require the withdrawal of a student if the administration determines that the partnership is irretrievably broken. In such instances, tuition would be prorated and a refund issued.
 
As partners in the educational process at St. Bernadette School, we ask parents to:

• Support the religious and educational goals of the school
• Meet all financial obligations to the school
• Support and cooperate with the discipline policy of the school
• Complete and return to school any requested information promptly
• Read school notes and newsletters
• Notify the school in advance when a student is tardy or absent and follow up with a note
• Attend Parent-Teacher Conferences
• See that the student pays for any damage to school books or property due to carelessness or neglect on the part of the student
• See that your child arrives at school on time, dressed according to the school dress code, and arrives at school prepared with all necessary materials.

The Catholic Church and St. Bernadette School recognize parents as the primary educators of their children.  The education of students at this school is a partnership between parents and the school.  If, in the opinion of the administration, the partnership is irretrievably broken, the school reserves the right to require the parent to withdraw his or her child.  This is a very serious decision that is not made lightly.
