St. Bernadette School integrates faith, academics, social and emotional growth, civic engagement, and community building within a safe, nurturing environment. Students begin their transition to middle school in 5th grade. Our middle school program creates a supportive environment for our students during this unique time of early adolescence. We challenge our students with a rigorous academic program that allows them to think critically through collaborative and creative learning experiences. These experiences prepare them to meet with success now and into the future.
Each year the Terra Nova Standardized Testing is administered in early spring to our students in grades 3 through 8. Over seventy-five percent of our students typically score above the national average. We are extremely proud of our students and our dedicated faculty and staff!
The graduates of St. Bernadette School will be empowered to make choices that reflect the spirit of a Christ-centered education, rooted in social justice, mercy, and personal integrity while maximizing intellectual potential.
Students in PreK through 8th grade attend STREAM classes in our new Stream Lab. This innovative classroom fosters creativity through exploration and critical thinking. Students will practice, internalize, and make deep connections between the disciplines(Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art and Mathematics). STREAM classes focus on the process of learning and discovery. Using state of the art technology and real world problems, students will collaborate to investigate and analyze.
All collaborative learning reinforces the culture of kindness, respect, and reflection that is the hallmark of St. Bernadette School.
