My name is Lisa Carney and I am so happy to be teaching 4th grade at St. Bernadette's. It is my thirteenth year teaching fourth grade, but my fourteenth year at St. Bernadette's. I have over 27 years of teaching experience. I have a master's degree in education from Chestnut Hill College and began my teaching career at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in South Philadelphia where I taught third grade. I have also taught first grade, and I have been a reading interventionist and a substitute teacher in grades K to 5. 

I love reading and watching movies.  I enjoy playing with my grandchildren and spending time with my family. 

I am so blessed to be teaching at St. Bernadette's and I am looking forward to a year full of learning and fun!
