As students in grades 6-8 become more aware of their own interests and abilities, the importance of continuing to learn and explore in art takes new directions. Students experience a variety of techniques and materials that allow them to express themselves in diverse ways. We continue to learn about current and historical artists, look at art from various cultures and styles, and build on our work with the elements of art and the principles of design.
