At St. Bernadette School, our goal is to make the admissions process simple and accessible for new and returning parents. St. Bernadette School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the management of its admissions policy or enrollment in our school programs.
In the event that we have more applicants than spaces in a given class, admission priority will be given to applicants as outlined below, while others will be placed on a waitlist in TADS in the event a space becomes availabe or you withdraw you online application in the system:
All applications are taken online through our TADS enrollment website, which can be accessed on our school website under the Admissions tab.
All required forms and documents must be submitted to TADS before applications are reviewed. For a complete list of required documents, visit our website's Admissions tab.
Upon acceptance of your application, you will receive an email regarding completion of online enrollment through the TADS enrollment system. The following is required before your student will be officially enrolled in St. Bernadette School:
Non-refundable registration fee (payable online)
Upper Darby School District Private Dental Report for grades K, 1, 3, 7 (print the form from the TADS enrollment site and upload to the site after completed by dentist)
Upper Darby School District Private Physical Examination for grades K, 1, 6 (print the form from the TADS enrollment site and upload to site after completed by physician)
Release of Student Records form, if transferring from grades 1-8 (print the form from the TADS enrollment site and upload to site after completed by parent/guardian)
Teacher Reference Form, if transferring from grades 1-8 (print from the TADS enrollment site and upload to site after completed by teacher)
Principal or Guidance Counselor Reference Form, if transferring from grades 1-8 (print from the TADS enrollment site and upload to site after completed by principal or guidance counselor)
Copy of current Report Card or Progress Report, if transferring from grades 1-8 (upload to TADS enrollment site)
The following is required unless the student is currently attending an Archdiocesan School:
If applicable, psychological and/or educational test results (upload to TADS enrollment site)
Standardized test results (upload to TADS enrollment site)
A Letter of Release from your pastor is necessary if your family is registered at a local parish in the Archdiocese that has an elementary school (upload to TADS enrollment site)
Admissions, the provisions of services, and referrals of students shall be made without regard to race, color, religious creed, disability, ancestry, national origin (including limited English proficiency), age, or sex.
Program services shall be made accessible to eligible persons with disabilities through the most practical and economically feasible methods available. These methods include, but are not limited to, equipment redesign, the provision of aides, and the use of alternative service delivery locations. Structural modifications shall be considered only as a last resort among available methods.
