Registration Policies and Procedures
Children of parents or guardians who are registered members of St. Bernadette Parish as well as those who are not registered in our parish are eligible for admission to St. Bernadette School. All registrations are taken through the school office.(610.789.7676, ext. 202)
Current School Families
Re-Registration for current school families for the following school year takes place beginning in Feburary and must be completed by Feburary 28th in order to plan accordingly for the following school year. Re-registration information for the following school year is sent to each family through the weekly SBS Communications in Janurary prior to the next school year. Tuition rates and registration fees are published under FORMS link. All financial obligations must be current before re-registration can be processed.
New School Families
Registrations for children who are new to our school are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registrations are also accepted during the school year depending upon availability in the childís grade.
Applicants for the Motherís Morning Out Program (2-year-olds), 3 and 4-year Old Preschool Programs, Kindergarten and 1st grade must be 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6 years of age respectively by September 1 of the year in which admission is sought.
The following documents are required for admissions for K-8:
- Completed Registration form
- Birth certificate
- Baptismal certificate, if baptism was not at St. Bernadette Church
- Record of immunization
- Physical examination form, completed by the childís physician (entering grades K and 6th)
- Dental examination form, complete by the childís dentist

Should a child transfer from another school, a transfer from the sending school and a review of the childís records by the principal are required in addition to the aforementioned items.
Tuition is determined in January for the following school year. In addition to the tuition payment, families of St. Bernadette Parish are also asked to contribute a minimum of $15.00 per week via their Sunday envelope. Families who do this are considered "Participating Parish Families." Those who do not are considered "Nonparticipating Parish Families." Tuition rates for "Participating," "Nonparticipating," and "Out-of-Parish" families are listed on the tuition fee structure, which can be viewed and downloaded by selecting "Tuition & Fees" on the left.
In justice to all parents and the parish community, parents are expected to keep tuition payments as well as Sunday contributions up to date. Please be mindful of all due dates and consequences for failing to make payments in accordance with those due dates. (See Tuition due dates and Sunday contribution schedule to the left.)
***Financial Assistance is available through the parish as well as through the BLOCS program. Forms for both may be downloaded by clicking on the appropriate form name to the left. The Parish's Tuition Adoption Program continues to assist families who are struggling to pay tuition. Should your family need assistance, please contact the rectory at 610-789-7676. All inquiries are confidential.
***There are also many ways in which you reduce the amount that you pay for tuition. Parents may earn tuition vouchers by participating in our Grocery and National SCRIP Programs.
