St. Leonie Aviat Prayer and Service Club
St. Bernadette School is committed to preparing our students to lead lives of service to God and others. The St. Leonie Aviat Prayer and Service Club works toward this goal by fostering an awareness of the needs of others, teaching our children the value of service, and providing opportunities to serve others in our parish and local community.
Coordinated and supervised by parent volunteers, members work on projects such as putting together care packages for the needy, writing letters and making cards for the sick, elderly, and military, and occasionally paying visits to the local homebound or nursing home residents. The Prayer and Service Club sponsors several school-wide projects throughout the school year, and also often works in conjunction with our Parish Food Pantry to provide assistance to parish families in need.
Students are invited to participate in the Prayer and Service Club, which typically meets once per month. Information about upcoming projects will be communicated through our online communications and/or the Family Envelope.
*** Parents:If you would like to be a Moderator, please contact Student Service Club Coordinator Cathy McGeever at 610-446-8497 or at cfmcgeever@aol.com, or complete and submit the form at the bottom of this page.
